- Vape: Northern Lights
Dispensary: Trulieve Brand: Roll One Strain Type: Indica Strain Info from Dispensary: 85% THC | 3.6% Terps Lineage: Afghani x Thai landrace Lab Results: Northern Lights is one of the classic indica strains, and this one-gram 510‑thread vape cart from Roll One delivers a steady, familiar experience. I tried it on a sleepy, quiet, warm Georgia evening while watching the porch lights flicker on up and down the street. It felt like the right moment for this vape cart. The Cart: Roll One uses the Active710 EZClick Glass Plus cartridge. It feels fine in hand, nothing fancy, and it works as expected. The oil inside has a deeper orange‑brown tint compared to the two Aura carts from Fine Fettle that we previously reviewed. The airflow is also tighter than Aura’s carts, which seems to give the vapor a slightly warmer feel on the pull to me. The “peach sauce” inside seems to vape quickly in the Roll One cart, but still on par with the Aura carts from Fine Fettle. Botanical Sciences’ Granddaddy Purp cart seemed to last much longer with the same amount of use, but we still prefer the hardware from Trulieve and Fine Fettle. We used a standard 510‑thread battery for this review, but we would probably enjoy this cart more with a vaporizer that cools the vapor a bit, like a DaVinci or Zenco. After a couple of days of use, the vape cart started getting lightly clogged. For me at least, that’s not that unusual for this kind of vape cart. Day two and three of using this cart does remind me of how much I prefer the Aura carts at the moment. Smell: Before use, the cart has a very light pine aroma. Once heated, the vapor carries pine and a bit of citrus. Vapor: The vapor is medium thick and pulls smoothly. It is warm at the start, but not unexpectedly so. It never becomes harsh. The tighter airflow contributes to the warmth, which is why we plan to try this cart with a cooler vaporizer next time. Taste: The first flavor is a strong mix of pine, citrus, and peppery spice. The aftertaste is distinctly peppery and earthy with a faint floral note. The flavor is terpy, but it is not the most inviting profile compared to the Aura carts we have tried. It is still interesting and true to the strain. Experience: The strain performed for me as expected. It felt steady and familiar from start to finish. I would buy this again, even though I prefer Aura’s hardware. Lab Notes: A Certificate of Analysis, or COA, is a lab report that shows the measurable compounds in a specific batch of cannabis. It is not a medical document and it does not predict effects. It simply lists what the lab found and whether each item passed the state’s testing requirements. For this Northern Lights cart, total THC is listed at 84.958 percent, with total cannabinoids at 91.81 percent. CBG comes in at 4.12 percent, CBC at 0.42 percent, and CBN at 2.32 percent. The terpene panel shows terpinolene at 1.47 percent, beta‑caryophyllene at 0.57 percent, limonene at 0.52 percent, beta‑myrcene at 0.24 percent, beta‑pinene at 0.24 percent, and alpha‑pinene at 0.22 percent. Total terpenes land at 3.636 percent. We asked if this cart had cannabis-derived terpenes (CDT) or botanical-derived terpenes (BDT). Trulieve employees at both the Marietta and Macon dispensaries told me this cart had CDT, but I can’t confirm that based on the terps listed on the COA. In addition, Trulieve’s own website for this vape cart says it’s BDT. The website states: “Roll One™ Vape Carts are filled with pure, potent cannabis oil made from carefully cured indoor-grown flower. Infused with botanically-derived terpenes, they deliver bold flavor and feel-good effects that capture the essence of strains you know and love.” CDT vs BDT aside, the COA numbers do help explain why the cart tasted the way it did. This cart’s terpene balance lines up with our sensory notes. The pine and citrus come from pinene and limonene. The peppery spice and earthy finish match caryophyllene and myrcene. Peach Score: 🍑🍑🍑🍑 This Northern Lights is a steady, familiar indica cart with a pine‑forward flavor, medium‑thick vapor, and a hardware design that works just fine. The strain performed as expected, and we would buy it again, especially if pairing it with a vaporizer that allows for the vapor to cool a bit before inhaling.
- Vape: King Louis XIII
Dispensary: Fine Fettle Brand: Aura Strain Info from Manufacturer: BetaCaryophyllene: 0.61% | BetaMyrcene: 0.18% | BetaPinene: 0.18% | CBC: 0.47% | CBG: 0.8% | CBN: 0.42% | Limonene: 0.78% | Linalool: 0.12% | THC8: 1.86% | THC9: 86.82% | Flower Equivalent: 0.87g Lineage: OG Kush x LA Confidential Lab Results: Today we’re reviewing a one-gram disposable vape Fine Fettle’s Aura line with the “King Louis XIII” strain. We previously reviewed Aura’s “Green Crack” 510‑thread cart, so we were curious to see how this disposable compared. King Louis XIII is an indica cross of OG Kush and LA Confidential, and Aura presents it in a glass‑tip disposable that feels premium from the moment you pick it up. The Cart: Aura’s disposable offerings use an O2 Vape No. 1752 device with a glass tip. The construction feels tight and sturdy in hand. The oil inside the chamber is clear with no cloudiness. The device is rechargeable, but we never actually needed to recharge the battery before the “peach sauce” inside was super low. One thing I did notice is that as the cart neared depletion, some oil had collected inside the glass chamber. It didn’t clog and didn’t affect flavor, but it was visually annoying and seemingly made drawing slightly more difficult near the end. A second thing I noticed is that compared to other 1g disposables we have tried, the “peach sauce” in both of the Fine Fettle carts we’ve tried (this one and Green Crack) seemed to get used up faster with the same amount of use. Even with that said, we still prefer the glass‑tip carts Fine Fettle is using over the Pixi disposable carts that Botanical Sciences is using for their ceramic coil offering. Smell: There is a faint aroma before use. It brings a herbal sweetness that is cut by a pleasant citrus note. Vapor: The first pull was moderately thick and smooth. The vapor is warm but not hot. The glass tip can get a little warm, but it never got too hot when we used it. Vapor stayed consistent throughout the session and remained thick until the cart is nearly empty. Taste: The first flavor is a bright lemon‑pledge note. It is followed by a hit of Pine-sol mixed with a faint earthy musk note. The combination is actually much tastier than it sounds. We haven’t heard from the dispensary yet regarding whether the terpenes in this vape are cannabis derived or if they’re botanical derived, but it certainly seems to have botanical derived terpenes in our opinion. Experience: I could see myself reaching for this after getting home from a long, tiring day. The flavor stayed pleasant, the vapor stayed thick, and the device felt good in hand. This Indica strain performed for me as expected, and I would certainly buy it again. Lab Notes: A Certificate of Analysis, or COA, is a lab report that shows the measurable compounds in a specific batch of cannabis. It is not a medical document and it does not predict effects. It simply lists what the lab found and whether each item passed the state’s testing requirements. For this batch of King Louis XIII, total THC is listed at 86.82 percent, with THC8 at 1.86 percent. The COA also shows CBC at 0.47 percent, CBG at 0.8 percent, and CBN at 0.42 percent. Limonene comes in at 0.78 percent, BetaCaryophyllene at 0.61 percent, BetaMyrcene at 0.18 percent, BetaPinene at 0.18 percent, and Linalool at 0.12 percent. The compliance panels show no hits for pesticides, no microbial issues, and no foreign materials. Regarding heavy metals, Chromium was found at 40ppb but was marked as “Pass” as it was under the lab’s limit of 500,000ppb. The terpene balance lines up with our personal experience. Limonene at 0.78 percent supports the bright flavor that shows up first. BetaCaryophyllene at 0.61 percent and BetaMyrcene at 0.18 percent match the earthy musk that follows. The faint diesel note we tasted fits with the combination of pinene and caryophyllene. The COA does not tell us how a strain will feel, but the numbers do help explain why the cart tasted the way it did. Peach Score: 🍑🍑🍑🍑 King Louis XIII is a tasty part of Fine Fettle’s Aura line. The vapor is thick, the flavor is pleasant, and the device feels premium. Even with the seemingly faster burn rate, this is a disposable we would happily pick up again.
- Flower: Tucked In
Dispensary: Fine Fettle Decatur Brand: comffy by Fine Fettle Strain Info from Fine Fettle: BetaCaryophyllene: 0.18% | CBC: 0.07% | CBCA: 0.48% | CBD: 0.22% | CBGA: 0.34% | Limonene: 0.18% | THC9: 1.74% | THCA: 20.3% | THCV: 0.36% | Flower Equivalent: 0.68g Lineage: GG # 4 and Gelato # 33 Top Terpenes: Caryophyllene - 0.18% Limonene - 0.18% Lab Results: Howdy y’all! Welcome to our very first Peach Scout review! To get things started on July 1, 2026 (when flower and vape first became available for medical card holders in Georgia) we purchased 3.5 grams of Fine Fettle Decatur’s “Tucked In” flower. It was offered as part of their “comffy” brand. You can see the light purple packaging in the photo below. Fine Fettle had three strains available on the morning of July 1st, two sativas and this indica‑leaning option. They also had a half‑gram sativa vape cart that we’ll review soon. The Fine Fettle team in Decatur was upbeat and friendly. Their enthusiasm made the whole experience really feel like a milestone moment in Georgia. The line moved quickly, the pickup was smooth, and they were even handing out swag (shirts, sunglasses, dog toys). Regarding the flower, everything was pre‑bagged in sealed pouches like the one seen in the picture below. There weren’t any flower displays yet, but if they focused on getting flower and vape carts into folks’ hands on Day One, then that makes perfect sense to us. There were a lot of customers, but they handled the lines and patients well. Sight/Texture: The flower ground up easily. No clumps. No sticky mess. Just a clean, even texture that works well for dry herb vaporization. The buds look like a GG No. 4 x Gelato No. 33 cross. Dense, tidy, lightly frosted. Moisture came in at 6.09 percent, per the lab report, which probably explains why it ground up so easily and vaporized evenly in the Volcano. Smell: Before loading the Volcano vaporizer, the aroma hit me with a warm, peppery note from the caryophyllene and a bright citrus lift from the limonene. It’s not skunky at all. It’s more like the nose on a simple citrus‑forward cocktail with a spicy twist. Think of something like a grapefruit spritz with a cracked‑pepper rim. Bright on the front, warm on the back, and a little sweet underneath. It’s a calm, inviting smell that fits the “comffy” brand name. The lab report shows total terpenes at 0.683 percent, which lines up with how mild and easygoing the smell and taste are. Nothing too loud. Taste: We vaped Tucked In at 181°C using the Volcano. The first bag gave us medium vapor. Not super thick. Not light. Just a comfortable middle ground. The flavor follows the aroma but in a softer, more blended way. The pepper note is gentle, and the citrus shows up as a light, almost zesty brightness. It reminds me of the way a citrus peel tastes when you warm it up in a drink. Mild. Rounded. Easy. The vapor is smooth and steady, and the taste stays pleasant without ever getting sharp or bitter. Lab Notes: According to the lab results provided by Fine Fettle, the total terpenes come in at 0.683 percent, which matches how mild and easygoing the smell and taste are. There’s also a little CBGA in the mix, which sometimes gives flower a cleaner, fresher aroma. Total THC is listed at 19.538 percent, with total cannabinoids at 20.91 percent. THCV shows up at 0.36 percent, which is interesting to see. The COA shows no pesticides, no microbial issues, no residual solvents, and all heavy metals were well within allowable limits. Peach Score: 🍑🍑🍑 This is a solid first offering from the Fine Fettle folks! We would certainly buy this indica flower again. Is it the most incredible peachy nug we’ve ever tried? Well, no. But it’s a mighty strong start! The vapor is smooth, the flavor is mild and enjoyable, and the whole experience gives me great hope about where Georgia’s new green expansion goes from here.
- Flower: Lemon Cherry Pie
Dispensary: Botanical Sciences Chamblee Brand: Day Break by Botanical Sciences Lineage: Lemon Cherry Gelato and Georgia Pie Lab Results: We’re back with another Peach Scout flower review, and this time we’re trying Lemon Cherry Pie from Botanical Sciences. This is one of their early flower releases, and I was curious to see how it compares to the other Georgia-grown options we’ve reviewed. The hybrid flower comes in a white plastic pop‑lid jar. The Flower: Inside the plastic container, the nugs look modest but inviting. They were mostly small, with two medium-sized ones mixed in. The flower wasn’t super dense or heavily frosted, but it looked fine overall. When viewed through a jeweler’s loupe, many of the trichome heads appeared knocked off. There were plenty of orange hairs across the colas, giving the flower a warm, familiar look. Moisture comes in at 8.12 percent, which explains why the flower didn’t feel overly dry or sticky in the grinder. In terms of effort needed to grind, this flower sat right in the middle. Smell: Before grinding, the nose brings pine, hay, bitter chocolate, and a little skunk. After grinding, the aroma stays largely the same but becomes slightly more intense. Once the flower is removed, the container itself holds a lingering sweetness, and the citrus note becomes easier to pick up. Grind & Prep: Grinding required a bit of effort to get started. The flower wasn’t super dry, but it wasn’t sticky either. It sat right in the middle, which made the grind feel steady but not effortless. Vapor: I tried this Lemon Cherry Pie flower using a Volcano vaporizer set at 181 degrees Celsius. The vapor is thin and stays light in the mouth. It isn’t harsh. The second bag might have been slightly thicker, but overall the vapor remained gentle throughout the session. Taste: The flavor is light. There’s a little lemony citrus and a bit of earthiness. No major changes in flavor as the session goes on. It stays consistent from start to finish. My Experience: This Lemon Cherry Pie flower isn’t something that will become one of my go-to flowers, but it was mighty pleasant on a super warm summer evening. I tried this flower during our recent stretch of intense heat (that July heat dome, yuck). The Volcano vaporizer really shined in this scenario as it collects the vapor in a bag, which helps cool it down before inhaling. That was much appreciated on an evening when both my air conditioning and ceiling fans were are already working overtime. Lab Notes: A Certificate of Analysis, or COA, is a lab report that shows the measurable compounds in a specific batch of cannabis. It is not a medical document and it does not predict effects. It simply lists what the lab found and whether each item passed the state’s testing requirements. The COA results mentioned here (and available at the link above) were provided by the dispensary. For this batch of Lemon Cherry Pie, total THC comes in at 27.524 percent, with total cannabinoids at 29.20 percent. CBG, CBC, CBGA, and THCV all show up in small amounts. CBD, CBDV, CBDA, and CBN were not detected. The pesticide panel shows no hits. Mycotoxins and microbial tests were all not detected. Foreign materials were listed as negative. Heavy metals show the following: Lead at 13.57 ppb. Arsenic at 10.69 ppb. Chromium at 194.07 ppb. Mercury was not detected. All heavy metals were marked “Pass” on the COA. For comparison, the COA for Tucked In showed chromium at 47.69 ppb, with lead and arsenic not detected. Both COAs list all heavy metals as “Pass.” Peach Score: 🍑🍑 This Lemon Cherry Pie flower is a pleasant start for Botanical Sciences. The aroma is mild, the vapor is light, and the flavor is equally gentle. It isn’t a strain that I’d reach for regularly, but it fits nicely with these warm Georgia evenings we’ve had recently when easy and subtle is appreciated.
- Vape: Green Crack
Dispensary: Fine Fettle Decatur Brand: Aura by Fine Fettle Strain Info from Fine Fettle: BetaCaryophyllene: 1.51% | CBC: 0.5% | CBG: 0.98% | CBN: 0.41% | Limonene: 0.68% | Linalool: 0.31% | Terpinolene: 0.13% | THC8: 1.95% | THC9: 89.02% | Flower Equivalent: 0.45g Lab Results: We’re back with our second Peach Scout review, and this time we’re trying Fine Fettle’s Green Crack vape cart. This is their half-gran 510-cart option, and it’s part of their Aura line. The “peach sauce” inside the cart is super clear with a soft tint that reminds me of a summer Georgia sunset. It looks clean and bright before you ever take a pull. Fine Fettle still offers fewer choices than Botanical Sciences or Trulieve, but the quality of what they’re putting out continues to impress me more. Green Crack is a sativa I’d gladly buy again. Honestly, I wish they made this one in a full gram option. The Cart: The cart itself looks great. Fine Fettle uses a glass cartridge with a ceramic heating element. Specifically, it’s O2Vape’s No. 1665 cart. It looks great and feels like a more premium product from the moment you pick it up. The “peach sauce” inside is clear with a slight amber tint. No cloudiness. Just a nice cart. Vapor: The vapor is cloudy and full, but still smooth. It pulls evenly and consistently. The O2Vape hardware really shines here. No clogging. No weird warmth. Just a steady, premium‑feeling vape experience from the first pull to the last. Smell: This cart is smelly even when it isn’t in use, and the aroma matches the flavor perfectly. It’s bright and citrusy with a little floral lift and a warm pepper note underneath. The COA shows limonene, linalool, terpinolene, and a big hit of caryophyllene, and you can smell all of that working together. It isn’t skunky. It isn’t candy‑sweet. It’s more like a buttery mango mixed with orange blossom and a tiny pepper note. Taste: The vapor was thick but smooth as mentioned above. Not harsh. Not sharp. Just a clean, silky vapor that feels good to sip. The flavor comes in layers. The citrus greets you first, and it tastes like a buttery mango with a little orange blossom mixed in. The floral note shows up late, and then everything gives way to a warm pepper finish. It’s a pleasant sativa flavor that feels balanced and natural. Nothing artificial. Nothing chemical. Just a clean, bright taste. I grabbed an Uber after trying this one and went to dinner in town. A FIFA World Cup match was playing outside on the square, and the whole area was buzzing with a lively summer‑in‑Georgia energy. This strain fit right into that moment for me. Bright. Crisp. Lab Notes: Total terpenes come in at 2.866 percent, which is much higher than the terpene levels we saw in Tucked In (flower from Fine Fettle that we recently reviewed). Caryophyllene is the top terpene at 1.51 percent, followed by limonene at 0.68 percent, linalool at 0.31 percent, and terpinolene at 0.13 percent. That mix explains the citrus, floral, and pepper flavors we tasted. Total THC is listed at 89.016 percent, with total cannabinoids at 92.86 percent. CBC, CBG, and CBN all show up in small amounts. Chromium shows up at 47.69 ppb. The COA shows no pesticides, no microbial issues, no foreign materials, and all heavy metals were well within the limits detailed on the lab report. Peach Score: 🍑🍑🍑🍑 This is a pleasant sativa cart that we’d gladly purchase again. The flavor is bright and layered, the vapor is smooth and cloudy, and the hardware feels premium. We wish Fine Fettle offered this in a full gram option, but even at .5g, it’s a strong showing. Their menu may be smaller than some of the other Georgia dispensaries, but the quality of what they’re putting out continues to impress us. I recently heard that they have up to eight new strains coming out. I’m looking forward to discovering what the fine folks at Fine Fettle offer next.
- Trulieve Flower is Sold Out
July 1st was a monumental day and brought much welcomed changes to Georgia’s medical program in my opinion. However, the big moments just keep coming! SB220 went into effect just one week ago and Trulieve has already announced that their flower has officially sold out. Congrats to their entire Georgia team! We know it’s been a long and difficult road to get to this point, and we wish them well as they work to restock. We would also like to point out and congratulate Trulieve for offering multiple strains and vape options on Day One of SB 220. Launch days are never simple, and having real choices available for patients right out of the gate is always worth celebrating. To be fair, Botanical Sciences and Fine Fettle also offered more than one flower choice on Day 1. We haven’t had an opportunity to obtain and review flower or vapes from Trulieve, but we look forward to doing so soon. To that end… we keep getting the same question from folks over and over: will Trulieve bring the TruPods to Georgia? We don’t know. Time will tell y’all! If we hear anything, we will share the news. The image above is a notice to customers that was posted on Trulieve’s website. It was noted by our team on July 8, 2026 in the early morning.
