We’re back with another Peach Scout flower review, and this time we’re trying Lemon Cherry Pie from Botanical Sciences. This is one of their early flower releases, and I was curious to see how it compares to the other Georgia-grown options we’ve reviewed. The hybrid flower comes in a white plastic pop‑lid jar.
The Flower:
Inside the plastic container, the nugs look modest but inviting. They were mostly small, with two medium-sized ones mixed in. The flower wasn’t super dense or heavily frosted, but it looked fine overall. When viewed through a jeweler’s loupe, many of the trichome heads appeared knocked off. There were plenty of orange hairs across the colas, giving the flower a warm, familiar look.
Moisture comes in at 8.12 percent, which explains why the flower didn’t feel overly dry or sticky in the grinder. In terms of effort needed to grind, this flower sat right in the middle.
Smell:
Before grinding, the nose brings pine, hay, bitter chocolate, and a little skunk. After grinding, the aroma stays largely the same but becomes slightly more intense. Once the flower is removed, the container itself holds a lingering sweetness, and the citrus note becomes easier to pick up.
Grind & Prep:
Grinding required a bit of effort to get started. The flower wasn’t super dry, but it wasn’t sticky either. It sat right in the middle, which made the grind feel steady but not effortless.
Vapor:
I tried this Lemon Cherry Pie flower using a Volcano vaporizer set at 181 degrees Celsius. The vapor is thin and stays light in the mouth. It isn’t harsh. The second bag might have been slightly thicker, but overall the vapor remained gentle throughout the session.
Taste:
The flavor is light. There’s a little lemony citrus and a bit of earthiness. No major changes in flavor as the session goes on. It stays consistent from start to finish.
My Experience:
This Lemon Cherry Pie flower isn’t something that will become one of my go-to flowers, but it was mighty pleasant on a super warm summer evening. I tried this flower during our recent stretch of intense heat (that July heat dome, yuck). The Volcano vaporizer really shined in this scenario as it collects the vapor in a bag, which helps cool it down before inhaling. That was much appreciated on an evening when both my air conditioning and ceiling fans were are already working overtime.

A Certificate of Analysis, or COA, is a lab report that shows the measurable compounds in a specific batch of cannabis. It is not a medical document and it does not predict effects. It simply lists what the lab found and whether each item passed the state’s testing requirements. The COA results mentioned here (and available at the link above) were provided by the dispensary.
For this batch of Lemon Cherry Pie, total THC comes in at 27.524 percent, with total cannabinoids at 29.20 percent. CBG, CBC, CBGA, and THCV all show up in small amounts. CBD, CBDV, CBDA, and CBN were not detected.
The pesticide panel shows no hits. Mycotoxins and microbial tests were all not detected. Foreign materials were listed as negative.
Heavy metals show the following:
Lead at 13.57 ppb.
Arsenic at 10.69 ppb.
Chromium at 194.07 ppb.
Mercury was not detected.
All heavy metals were marked “Pass” on the COA.
For comparison, the COA for Tucked In showed chromium at 47.69 ppb, with lead and arsenic not detected. Both COAs list all heavy metals as “Pass.”

This Lemon Cherry Pie flower is a pleasant start for Botanical Sciences. The aroma is mild, the vapor is light, and the flavor is equally gentle. It isn’t a strain that I’d reach for regularly, but it fits nicely with these warm Georgia evenings we’ve had recently when easy and subtle is appreciated.
