Lab Results:
Today we’re reviewing a one-gram disposable vape Fine Fettle’s Aura line with the “King Louis XIII” strain. We previously reviewed Aura’s “Green Crack” 510‑thread cart, so we were curious to see how this disposable compared. King Louis XIII is an indica cross of OG Kush and LA Confidential, and Aura presents it in a glass‑tip disposable that feels premium from the moment you pick it up.
The Cart:
Aura’s disposable offerings use an O2 Vape No. 1752 device with a glass tip. The construction feels tight and sturdy in hand. The oil inside the chamber is clear with no cloudiness. The device is rechargeable, but we never actually needed to recharge the battery before the “peach sauce” inside was super low.
One thing I did notice is that as the cart neared depletion, some oil had collected inside the glass chamber. It didn’t clog and didn’t affect flavor, but it was visually annoying and seemingly made drawing slightly more difficult near the end.
A second thing I noticed is that compared to other 1g disposables we have tried, the “peach sauce” in both of the Fine Fettle carts we’ve tried (this one and Green Crack) seemed to get used up faster with the same amount of use. Even with that said, we still prefer the glass‑tip carts Fine Fettle is using over the Pixi disposable carts that Botanical Sciences is using for their ceramic coil offering.
Smell:
There is a faint aroma before use. It brings a herbal sweetness that is cut by a pleasant citrus note.
Vapor:
The first pull was moderately thick and smooth. The vapor is warm but not hot. The glass tip can get a little warm, but it never got too hot when we used it. Vapor stayed consistent throughout the session and remained thick until the cart is nearly empty.
Taste:
The first flavor is a bright lemon‑pledge note. It is followed by a hit of Pine-sol mixed with a faint earthy musk note. The combination is actually much tastier than it sounds.
We haven’t heard from the dispensary yet regarding whether the terpenes in this vape are cannabis derived or if they’re botanical derived, but it certainly seems to have botanical derived terpenes in our opinion.
Experience:
I could see myself reaching for this after getting home from a long, tiring day. The flavor stayed pleasant, the vapor stayed thick, and the device felt good in hand. This Indica strain performed for me as expected, and I would certainly buy it again.

A Certificate of Analysis, or COA, is a lab report that shows the measurable compounds in a specific batch of cannabis. It is not a medical document and it does not predict effects. It simply lists what the lab found and whether each item passed the state’s testing requirements.
For this batch of King Louis XIII, total THC is listed at 86.82 percent, with THC8 at 1.86 percent. The COA also shows CBC at 0.47 percent, CBG at 0.8 percent, and CBN at 0.42 percent. Limonene comes in at 0.78 percent, BetaCaryophyllene at 0.61 percent, BetaMyrcene at 0.18 percent, BetaPinene at 0.18 percent, and Linalool at 0.12 percent.
The compliance panels show no hits for pesticides, no microbial issues, and no foreign materials. Regarding heavy metals, Chromium was found at 40ppb but was marked as “Pass” as it was under the lab’s limit of 500,000ppb.
The terpene balance lines up with our personal experience. Limonene at 0.78 percent supports the bright flavor that shows up first. BetaCaryophyllene at 0.61 percent and BetaMyrcene at 0.18 percent match the earthy musk that follows. The faint diesel note we tasted fits with the combination of pinene and caryophyllene. The COA does not tell us how a strain will feel, but the numbers do help explain why the cart tasted the way it did.

King Louis XIII is a tasty part of Fine Fettle’s Aura line. The vapor is thick, the flavor is pleasant, and the device feels premium. Even with the seemingly faster burn rate, this is a disposable we would happily pick up again.
