We could not find the information that we normally post here such as THC amounts and percentages. However, True Bliss’ website says this about this flower: “A balanced hybrid with cherry, citrus, and gassy cookie notes. Super Boof delivers a euphoric, comfortable effect that eases tension without heavy sedation, making it a flexible option across the day. Start low and go slow; individual response varies.”

Super Boof is one of those strain names that already feels like a character. It was created by crossing Black Cherry Punch with Tropicana Cookies, two cultivars known for bright fruit notes and loud color. In other states, Super Boof has a reputation for deep purples, swollen bracts, and a cherry‑citrus aroma that jumps out of the jar.

This was our first visit to True Bliss in Downtown Atlanta, right across from Woodruff Park. Parking was not the easiest and we had to pay for on‑street parking, which is never a thrill when you are just trying to pick up your medicine. Inside, the staff was friendly and welcoming. Our budtender, Scott, asked what I was looking for. I told him pain relief was my priority. Scott recommended Super Boof and Grape Milkshake. I thought Super Boof was an interesting suggestion based on what I was looking for, but I went with his recommendations. Our review of the other strain we purchased, True Bliss’s Grape Milkshake, will be available in the next few days.

True Bliss sells their own flower under the True Flower label. However, they also carry flower and vapes from Botanical Sciences and Fine Fettle. In fact, True Blossom currently says their two staff picks are Fine Fettle’s Jai Alai and Fine Fettle’s Original Haze x Rainbow Melts. I thought it was quite refreshing to see the dispensary’s staff picking their actual favorites versus merely promoting True Bliss’ own flower.

Before we get into our review, we’d like to point out that we could not find any lab results, or COA, for the medical cannabis that we purchased at True Bliss. For a medical market, lab test results should always be easy to access in our opinion. Some patients (like us) want to see the testing data!

So what happens if we try this flower and love it? Would we purchase it again without a COA? No. We would not. We want to see the COAs. And that’s bummer, especially after we took the next photo. But let’s keep moving forward and see what this flower is like.

Sight:

The pouch for Super Boof is a simple, re-sealable black bag. The nugs inside my bag are small and medium‑sized. As you can see in our photos, the flower has a healthy spread of trichomes across the surface, many with their bulbous heads still intact. In fact, we think this flower has more intact trichome coverage than most of the flower we’ve reviewed recently, which is encouraging.

Color-wise, this batch leans green with warm orange pistils. There are small hints of purple tucked into the structure, but not the deep purples that Super Boof is known for in other markets. The bracts are tighter and smaller than expected for a hybrid with this lineage. If these colas had come in with fatter, juicier bracts, this would have been a visually striking batch.

Smell:

Opening the pouch brings a mix of cherry, citrus, and a little gas. The dispensary describes the aroma as “sweet cherry, zesty orange, bold gas.” Our experience was different. We didn’t get zesty orange or bold gas. What we smelled was undeniably cherry with a softer citrus edge (more akin to grapefruit or passionfruit than orange).

Grinding the flower didn’t change the aroma much. Same notes before and after, which is unusual for a strain with Tropicana Cookies in its lineage. That cultivar often gets louder after grinding. This one stayed steady.

There’s no COA or terpene information available from the dispensary that we could find, but we think we smelled primarily limonene, myrcene, and caryophyllene.

Taste:

The flavor stayed consistent across all three bags. Pleasant citrus and cherry notes carried through the session without dropping off. Nothing harsh. Nothing muddy. Just a clean, fruit‑leaning hybrid flavor that held its lane.

Vapor:

The first Volcano vaporizer bag at 181°C produced mighty thin vapor. The second bag thickened up a bit, and the third bag thickened up a bit more from there. The vapor never got heavy, and it stayed smooth and easy to sip. The flavor held up better than expected for a batch with lighter coloration and smaller bracts.

Experience:

Super Boof behaved like a true hybrid. It sat in a comfortable middle lane with a slight sativa lean in my opinion. The dispensary calls it a “Sativa,” their website calls it an “Indica‑Hybrid;” however, the strain is known for being a balanced hybrid. But this also highlights the nature of what we’re on here talking about. Certain experiences are subjective.

For me, this felt like a steady, anytime hybrid. Something I would reach for on a weeknight when I’m not looking for a full sativa or a full indica experience. The flavor made the session enjoyable, and the vapor performance progressed throughout the session from thin to thicker, but it never got harsh.

Lab Notes:

There is no Certificate of Analysis, or COA, available for this flower that we could find. The pouch has no QR code, and the dispensary website does not list a lab report. For a medical market, COAs should be easy to find and access. Patients deserve to see the testing data for the medicine they are buying in our opinion.

Peach Score: 🍑🍑

We were originally going to give this flower three peaches because the flavor is nice and it performed as expected in the Volcano. We also noticed a good amount of trichomes were still intact. So what kept it from getting a higher peach score? There is room for improvement with the bud structure in our humble opinion. We’d like to see fatter, denser bracts. However, to be blunt, we removed a peach because we simply cannot find lab results for this flower. We’ve looked, and looked, and we shouldn’t have to look this hard for the COA.

Let us know if you know where to find True Bliss’ COAs. In the meantime, we plan to stop back by the dispensary tomorrow to inquire directly about obtaining a COA for this flower (and the Grape Milkshake flower). If we obtain a copy of the COA, we will update this review.

COA issue aside, as it stands, True Bliss’ Super Boof is a pleasant, steady hybrid with good flavor and solid potential.
